MDOT to begin work on M-52 in Shiawassee County, Monday, May 5

HIGHWAY: M-52 over the Maple River

CLOSEST CITY: Owosso

START DATE: Monday, May 5

END DATE: Mid-August

PROJECT: Starting Monday, work is expected to begin on the M-52 structure over the Maple River, south of Owosso. Repairs include epoxy overlay, deck patching, pin and hanger replacement, cleaning and coating structural steel, and joint replacement.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS: One lane of traffic will be maintained on M-52 with a temporary traffic signal.
