PROJECT: The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be replacing the bridge deck joints and making deck repairs on east- and westbound I-94 over the St. Joseph River.
TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS: From 6 a.m. on Mondays until 7 p.m. on Fridays, two lanes of traffic will be open in each direction. From 7 p.m. on Fridays until 6 a.m. on Mondays, there will be one lane open in each direction. This project includes day and nighttime work and is scheduled to be completed before Memorial Day weekend.
CUSTOMER BENEFIT: This $100,000 maintenance project will provide a smoother ride for motorists and extend the life of the bridges by approximately 10 years.
