Barnyard Song by Rhonda Gowler Greene

Barnyard Song book cover When a bad case of flu strikes the farm, the familiar chorus of the barnyard is interrupted. Suddenly, there's "No buzz. No mew. No cock-a-doodle-doo." The farmer saves the day when he cooks up kettles of savory soup and feeds it to each of the animals. Robert Bender's artwork blends bright and shaded colors with thick, dark outlines to create the colorful barnyard chorus of animals. Children will love identifying each animal and practicing all the sounds the animals make.
