CS-138 Training

DMB's Office of Financial Management offers three types of CS-138 training. Go to http://connect.michigan.gov/portal/site/budget/. Select the OFM tab at the top of the page, then Training.

  • AD21 is a traditional classroom style course offered periodically at the Romney Building. Complete the FACS Training Registration Form to register for the class.

  • CS-138 Processing Self-Study. On the top right side of the Training page you will see "Self-Studies." The CS-138 Processing Self-Study uses a training manual to take you through the various fields of the CS-138, and the steps needed to create and process a CS-138.

  • Computer-Based Training. At the bottom of the right side of the Training page you will see "Computer-Based Training (CBTs)." Select "Computer-Based Training (CBT) Courses" and then CS138.

This course was designed to give the user simulated hands-on practice creating a CS138 document in ADPICS. Actual ADPICS screens are used to give you a realistic experience of the functionality and step-by-step process of the data entry on the various screens used in the creation of a CS138 online document. This training also covers the change order processes of the Advice of Change and Document Cancellation through hands-on data entry. It also shows how to reference a CS138 ID on other ADPICS documents.
