• All Open Enrollment changes must be entered in MI HR Self-Service. Access to your Self-Service account will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via the Internet/intranet except during regular scheduled maintenance. Password assistance is available at www.michigan.gov/selfserv. under "Password help" or call the MI HR Service Center.

• Your final Open Enrollment selections will remain in effect for the entire benefit year, from October through September, except for certain situations. For details, refer to Section 13.
  
  
• If you are married to another eligible State employee or retiree, see Section 10 regarding your options for enrollment as either an "employee" or as a "dependent," as well as options for enrolling your child(ren).
