DETROIT - Later this month, the Michigan Department of Civil Rights (MDCR) will host two stakeholder engagement and media events to unveil their new public service announcements. On July 19 at 1:30 pm, the first event will be held at the Fair Housing Center of West Michigan, located at 20 Hall Street SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49507. On July 20, at 10:30 am, a second event will be held at the NAACP Detroit Branch Office, located at 8220 Second Avenue, Detroit, MI 48202.

The Only Fair is Fair campaign includes television, radio and print messages and will be made available to media outlets throughout Michigan.

MDCR reached out to the civil rights community of Michigan to take part in the production. Starring in the campaign are representatives from American Civil Liberties Union, Hope Network, Hispanic/Latino Commission of Michigan, US Attorney's Office (Eastern District) of Michigan, Philippine American Community Center of Michigan, WISDOM (Women's Interfaith Solutions for Dialogue and Outreach in MetroDetroit) and more.

In addition to civil rights partners and the media, the general public is welcome to attend these events.
