Groups Concerned by Persistent Misinformation and Misperceptions Regarding Voting Rights

The Detroit Branch NAACP, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Michigan and the Michigan Department of Civil Rights (MDCR) will hold a joint press conference on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at the office of the Detroit Branch NAACP located at 8220 Second Avenue in Detroit.

The press conference will begin at 10:30 a.m. During the conference the groups will express concern regarding the persistence of misinformation and misperceptions among voters and the continuing lack of clarity regarding various issues related to voting rights.
