On Tuesday, May 27, 2008, from 10:00AM to 2:00PM, Asian Pacific American organizations and peoples from across the state of Michigan will be celebrating the culmination of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month at the State Capitol.
During the event, primarily sponsored by Comcast, Asian and Pacific Islander heritage and customs will be honored with cultural performances, displays, and cuisine.
Among the scheduled speakers for the event will be the Lieutenant Governor John Cherry, Director of the Michigan Department of Civil Rights, Linda V. Parker, and Senator
Hansen Clarke.
