DELINQUENT SURVEYS
The following links identify facilities that have yet to submit the 2007 annual Certificate of Need survey. As of August 1, 2008, the Program Review Section is requiring submission of all outstanding annual surveys as a precedent to the issuance of any pending Certificate of Need
.
Please note that MCL 333.22237 and 333.22225 require:
Sec. 22237. As a condition precedent to the issuance of a certificate of need, the department may require that a health facility provide the department with data and statistics determined necessary by the department to carry out departmental duties required under this part, if the data and statistics have not already been reported to the department in a usable format.
Sec. 22225. (1) In order to be approved under this part, an applicant for a certificate of need shall demonstrate to the satisfaction of the department that the proposed project will meet an unmet need in the area proposed to be served.
Please note facilities that continue to be delinquent are also subject to Department compliance action pursuant to MCL 333.22247, including but not limited to civil fines for noncompliance.
