What HPSA designations are scheduled for review?
HPSA designations must be reviewed periodically for continued designation on a schedule established by the federal Shortage Designation Branch. HPSA designations that are currently scheduled for review may be found by accessing the 'HPSA in State Due to Update' report tool on the HRSA website. Separate reports may be queried for dental care HPSAs, mental health care HPSAs, and primary medical care HPSAs. Please follow these instructions to access a list of HPSA designations currently scheduled for review:1. Select the appropriate link from above according to HPSA designation type.
2. Search for last activity between 1/1/2010 and 12/31/2010. HPSAs scheduled for review in 2013 were previously designated in year 2010.
3. Select Michigan.
4. Click on the 'View Report' button.
5. Scroll down on the next screen to see the HPSAs scheduled for review.
