Fatal Injuries

The Division for Vital Records and Health Statistics' Fatal Injuries Web site presents the number of fatal injuries and rates per 100,000 population by age, gender and cause of injury for Michigan residents. This web site is intended for state and local health officers, researchers and others who need detailed information on external causes of fatal injuries. Development of this Web site was done in cooperation with the Bureau of Epidemiology and the Injury Prevention Section of the Division of Chronic Disease and Injury Control. Part of the injury control and prevention activities of the Bureau and Injury Prevention Section are funded by a Core Injury Capacity-Building grant from the Federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
