The Status of Recipient Rights Protection in Michigan

The State Office of Recipient Rights Annual Report 2005-2006 is presented in 2 documents. The "Annual Recipient Rights Report 2005-2006" contains all of the report requirements mandated in the Michigan Mental Health Code, including Appendix A, the individual complaint data for each of the state facilities. The "Annual Recipient Rights Report 2005-2006, Appendices B-E," contains the consolidated complaint data for all of the Rights Offices for each of the Licensed Psychiatric Hospitals/Units (Appendix B), and the consolidated complaint data for all of the Rights Offices for each of the Community Mental Health Services Programs (Appendix C). Information regarding remedial action taken on substantiated complaints is included in Appendix D and E for LPH/U's and CMHSP's, respectively.
