Third-party examinations required for lead professional certification by the State of Michigan are usually scheduled at least twice in each month, and more frequently during January through April to accommodate renewals. When the lead program receives an application for certification, including appropriate fees, the applicant will receive an exam notice in the mail to indicate the scheduled exam date, time, and location. Applications must be received by the lead program at least one week prior to the exam date to be eligible (click herefor an application form). Exams will not be scheduled by telephone.

The date, time and/or exact location indicated on the exam notice may be different than information shown here.
Be sure to follow the information that you receive on your exam notice.
You will be expected to attend the exam session for which you have been scheduled. If you cannot attend on the scheduled date, please contact the Lead Program at 517-335-9390 to reschedule. If you do not attend, and do not contact the Lead Program, a penalty will be assessed.
