Deborah Ayers, R.N., M.S.N.
Deborah received her BSN and MSN from Wayne State University in 1978 and 1988 respectively. She initially specialized in oncology at Henry Ford Hospital. In 1980 Deborah began a career in community health nursing. Her nursing roles have included Home Care Case Manager, Discharge Planner, Home Care Nursing Supervisor/Administrator and Ambulatory Nurse Educator. She has added clinical experience in Hospice, and is employed by the University of Phoenix as a part-time Instructor in the BSN completion program. Deborah is an 18 year member of the Army Reserves Nurse Corp with a rank of Major. She is a veteran of the Desert Storm War.
Deborah has chaired the Clinical Process Guidelines Committee for: Pain Management, End-of-Life, and Acute Change in Condition.
