I have a license as a respiratory therapist now. What initials do I have to use after my name and in my documentation?
There are four sets of initials that are used to identify state licensure. They are RT, LRT, RCP and LRCP. You should use one of these sets of initials to indicate that you hold a current license as a respiratory therapist in Michigan. The Board has indicated that they prefer the use of the initials LRT.
