You may apply by endorsement if you have an active license in Canada if you have been licensed for more than 10 years. You must send in your application and fee and have the Canadian licensing board send the Michigan Board the verification of your Canadian license. 

If you have been licensed less than 10 years, you may still apply by endorsement, but you will have to submit the following:

1. Completed application and fee.
2. Verification of your Canadian license.
3. Score reports from Parts 1, 2, and 3 of the USMLE examinations.
4. Certification of successful completion of 2 years of post-graduate clinical training.
5. If you are a graduate of a medical school outside of Canada or the U.S., you must submit proof of ECFMG certification.
