How can I find a qualified or certified contractor or installer for my project? Are particular energy systems recommended for use in Michigan?
A. The state and federal governments do not recommend particular products or contractors, dealers, or installers. Depending on the work being done, contractors may have to be licensed to perform specific kinds of work in Michigan. You can certainly ask contractors about their qualifications and ask to verify their appropriate licensing.
