Seed Exports/Phytosanitary Certification - Inspection and Testing Requirements

The USDA has authorized the Michigan Department of Agriculture & Rural Development to conduct export certification inspections within the state of Michigan and to issue phytosanitary certificates. This process helps facilitate export of Michigan commodities, including seed.

For more information on exporting seed or to request an inspection in order to obtain a phytosanitary export certificate, please call the MDARD Customer Service Center at 1-800-292-3939.
