SUMMARY:
The Health Access in Lenawee (HAL) will focus on access to healthy foods, physical activity, and volunteer engagement to address the health crisis in our community. While Health Access in Lenawee will benefit many community members, our target communities are low-income individuals and families. The YMCA of Lenawee, one of our key partners, has received a planning grant for Pioneering Healthy Communities and our work through this grant will enhance their effort to ensure a greater community-wide impact by utilizing skilled volunteers to establish program sustainability.
