Making Your Request
Audio visual may be scheduled for use by contacting Sandra Luther, Media Specialist at the Law Enforcement Resource Center located in downtown Lansing in the Hollister Building, 106 W Allegan St., Suite 600, Lansing, MI 48909. You may use any of the following methods to contact us:
1) By mail at the address shown above.
2) By phone at (517) 322-6608. A 24-hour voice mail system is also in effect for your convenience in ordering materials.
3) By FAX at (517) 322-5611.
4) By filling out a reservation form and E-mailing to: Sandra Luther.
Reservations are made on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, please order at least seven business days in advance to allow for proper entry and mailing time. Always give your agency I.D. number, the catalog number of the items being requested and the complete time period required. It is helpful to have alternate titles and dates, whenever possible.
Loans will be limited to four (4) items for a specific date, however you may order for several dates at one time. Materials may be reserved for up to a two-week period excluding shipping time.
Since most programs are scheduled in advance for planned training sessions, it is imperative that borrowed materials are returned on time so that others may use them as scheduled. If towards the end of your reservation period you would like to request an extension, please call our office to check for the availability of additional time.
Shipping Information
All materials will be shipped to you through United Parcel Service (UPS) approximately three working days prior to the use date and must be returned promptly after use to reach us on or before the due date which is shown on the shipping label and the Program Usage/Comment Form. Your cooperation is essential to ensure that the next borrower will receive programs on time.
