Lt. Governor Cherry Gives Keynote Address at Central Michigan University Honors Convocation

Lieutenant Governor John D. Cherry, Jr. gave the keynote address at the first
annual Honors Convocation at Central Michigan University. Last year, Cherry
chaired the Governor’s Commission on Higher Education and Economic Growth.
One of the commission’s primary recommendations was to significantly increase
the number of college graduates in Michigan to improve the state’s economic
competitiveness.
