15th Anniversary Wild Time - Game #217

LANSING, July 7, 2008 - Wild Time is turning 15! Since launching for the first time in October 1993, Wild Time has become one of the Michigan Lottery's top-selling instant games and has awarded nearly one half BILLION dollars in prizes!

In celebration, the Lottery is launching a commemorative 15th Anniversary Wild Time ticket on July 7, 2008. The new will sell for $5 and feature top prizes of $300,000.

On average, players spend over $1.1 million each week on $2 Wild Time products. That amounts to 16% of total weekly $2 instant game sales! Since the first launch 15 years ago, 39 different $2 Wild Time games have been produced, amounting to over 400 million tickets!

15th Anniversary Wild Time tickets are available at over 11,000 Michigan Lottery retailers.

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers.

In fiscal year 2007, the contribution to schools was $748.9 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $14.3 billion to education in Michigan.
