Millionaire Raffle

LANSING, June 27, 2008 - Seven more Michigan Lottery Millionaire Raffle winners have claimed their prizes!

Michael Zahron of Macomb had a very happy birthday when he learned the Raffle ticket he received as a birthday present was a $100,000 winner! His brother purchased the ticket at Palace Liquor in Macomb. Zahron couldn't believe he was really a winner and had to look at the ticket several times. He has no specific plans for his new fortune; except to share some with his brother.

A Fort Gratiot player, who chose to remain anonymous, collected her $1,000,000 prize at Lottery Central in Lansing. The winner purchased the ticket at Fay's Party Port in Fort Gratiot. After learning of her good fortune from a retailer, she was so excited that when she jumped for joy, she knocked over a candy rack! She plans to use the prize money to pay off her house.

A Dearborn anonymous player was a $100,000 winner after purchasing a ticket at Dearborn Amoco Service in Dearborn. The avid player was excited when a retailer said they could not pay the amount and it would have to be paid at Lottery headquarters in Lansing. Winnings will be used to pay off bills.

An anonymous Garden City man was excited when his ticket purchased at 3-B Party Store in Detroit was worth $100,000. The regular Lottery player struck it rich twice this month, after hitting $5,000 on a Daily 4 ticket too. He plans to use the prize money to pay off his car.

An anonymous player won his $100,000 with a winning ticket at 7-Eleven 32905 in Sterling Heights.

Kroger #654 in Shelby Township sold a $1 million winner to an anonymous player.

In fiscal year 2007, the contribution to schools was $748.9 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $14.3 billion to education in Michigan.
