Super Raffle

The Michigan Lottery's Super Raffle offers the best and biggest chance ever to win $2 million!  A limited number of tickets-just 250,000-will be sold beginning Monday, August 11, 2008, at all Lottery terminals across the state.  Tickets will have a unique number from 000001 to 250000.  During a single drawing on Monday, October 6 or later, 14,022 tickets will be randomly selected to win the following prizes:

2 prizes of $2,000,000 (annuitized
over 20 years or $1,300,000 cash)*
1:125,000
20 prizes of $100,000 each 1:12,500
4,000 prizes of $500 each 1:63
10,000 prizes of $100 each 1:25

Overall: 1:18

  • Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased 7 days a week anywhere players find the familiar orange Lottery terminals and Club Keno retailers
  • The first 50,000 tickets printed will be sold at a discounted price of $45 each.
  • Tickets will be issued in sequential order across the state
  • No additional tickets will be available for purchase once all 250,000 tickets are sold
  • Tickets will be easy picks only; players cannot pick their own numbers
  • Tickets cannot be cancelled and multi-draw wagers are not available
  • Player must match their numbers in exact order to those drawn by the Lottery
  • There will be only one drawing on October 6, 2008 or later
  • Players must have their original Super Raffle ticket to claim their prize
  • Prizes must be claimed within one year of draw date
  • Winning numbers for the two, $2,000,000 prizes will be broadcast live at 7:29 p.m. on the date of the drawing, on the following stations:
    • WBKB Alpena
    • WDIV Detroit
    • WNEM Flint
    • WXSP Grand Rapids
    • WLAJ Lansing
    • WJMN Marquette
    • WMKG Muskegon
    • WGTU Traverse City
  • The two $2,000,000 winners, the 20 $100,000 winners, the 4,000 $500 winners and the 10,000 $100 winners will be posted on Lottery's Web site at www.michigan.gov/lottery and all Michigan Lottery offices
  • $500 and $100 prizes may be claimed at any Michigan Lottery retailer
  • $2,000,000 and $100,000 prize winners must call the Lottery's Public Relations Division at (517) 373-1237 to schedule an appointment to claim their prize

Be sure to keep your original Super Raffle ticket until the drawing!  If you are a winner, you will need to present it to claim your prize.


* The $2,000,000 prize winners will receive their prize payments over a 20-year period unless, within 60 days from the date they claim their prize, they request the Cash Option method of payment.
