Super Raffle

LANSING, June 9, 2008 - A Michigan Lottery player has less than two weeks to turn what might become bad luck into a winning experience and a $100,000 prize!

An unclaimed Super Raffle ticket, worth $100,000, was sold at Town & Country Liquor in Southfield for the June 18, 2007 drawing. But since the ticket expires one year from that date, time is running out and a claim must be made by close of business on Wednesday, June 18.

The winning number on the ticket is 240602. The ticket is one of 18 winning $100,000 tickets sold for that drawing; the other prizes have been claimed.

The person holding the ticket is urged to call the Michigan Lottery Public Relations Division at 517-373-1237 to schedule an appointment to claim the prize. The prize must be claimed at the lottery's headquarters in Lansing.

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2007, the contribution to schools was $748.9 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $14.3 billion to education in Michigan.
