Super Raffle

LANSING, April 14, 2007 - The second winner of $2 million in the Michigan Lottery's March 31 Super Raffle drawing has claimed her prize.

The anonymous winner purchased the lucky ticket at B&B Party Depot in Grand Rapids.

Three other anonymous players who won $100,000 each also claimed prizes recently. Winning tickets were sold at Shopper's Market in Warren; Amori's Market in Madison Heights; and Mac's II in Taylor.

In addition to the above four winners, 18 of the 27 top two tiers of Super Raffle winners have claimed their prizes.

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2007, the contribution to schools was $748.9 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $14.3 billion to education in Michigan.
