Using Materials from Other Libraries

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a worldwide cooperative agreement between libraries to lend and borrow materials from their collections. This system is used to supply a variety of resources which are not available at the Library of Michigan to state and legislative employees.

Library Catalog (ANSWER)
Search the Library of Michigan catalog to see what we own.

NOTE: Rush requests are available by phone only. Please call (517) 373-1300 or send an email to illoan@mi.gov. Office hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. While every attempt will be made to fill these requests in the desired time frame, the cooperative nature of ILL makes it impossible to guarantee another library's ability to accommodate our needs.
