Summer Employment Excursion, June 4 - August 27, 2010
This is a 12-week program that provides blind and visually impaired students in the Genesee Intermediate School District (GISD) with the opportunity to explore career possibilities under the direction of mentors who may have similar disabilities.

Summer Work Opportunity Program, June 14 - August 20, 2010
This is a food service and vending internship in MCB's Business Enterprise Program for blind and visually impaired youth ages 15-22. Participants work 20-30 hours per week at $7.40 per hour with a Business Enterprise Program operator.

This is an eight-day training program for blind and visually impaired youth ages 14 through 21 years old whose goal includes postsecondary education and/or transitionaing to competitive employment.

Career Club, June 21 - August 27, 2010
Career Club is for blind and visually impaired students ages 14 through 26 in Ingham and Eaton Counties. The program includes but is not limited to job tours, job planning, interviewing activities, job shadows, job try-outs, disability rights/self advocacy, soft skills related to preparing for employment, team-building activities, and goal setting.

MCB 2010 College Preparatory Program at Western Michigan University for blind and visually impaired high school juniors and seniors as well as anyone else who would like to pursue college training, but has not done so as a person who is blind or visually impaired.
