This is a 12-week program that provides blind and visually impaired students in the Genesee Intermediate School District (GISD) with the opportunity to explore career possibilities under the direction of mentors who may have similar disabilities.

The committee is open to anyone who would like to participate, including MCB staff, consumers, community partners, and others interested in these topics.

This is a food service and vending internship in MCB's Business Enterprise Program for blind and visually impaired youth ages 15-22. Participants work 20-30 hours per week at $7.40 per hour with a Business Enterprise Program operator.

Career Club, June 21 - August 27, 2010
Career Club is for blind and visually impaired students ages 14 through 26 in Ingham and Eaton Counties. The program includes but is not limited to job tours, job planning, interviewing activities, job shadows, job try-outs, disability rights/self advocacy, soft skills related to preparing for employment, team-building activities, and goal setting.
