MCB Meeting and Dialogue Philosophy
At these meetings, the word ‘tilt' is used frequently. ‘Tilting' is the decision making process which is less top-down; ‘tilting' service delivery so that MCB's clients are more involved in achieving greater independence and/or employment goals; lessening the fragmentation of programs and services within the agency and moving toward a more holistic, circular system. (See Tilting Strategies and Values.)
Principles of appreciative dialogue and open discussion circles are also used in PAQ team meetings, to reinforce an open direction of the discussions. (See Dialogue Guidelines for Agile Thinking and Appreciative Inquiry.)
