Welcome to the portion of this website devoted to information for the public. If you or a loved one are one of the over 75 million Americans who live with serious pain, then the information here should be helpful. Information on pain management is continually growing and changing. Each year new studies reveal more information about this complex health care issue. Hundreds of new drug trials are initiated annually to explore medications intended to alleviate pain. The Bureau of Health Professions will make every effort to provide Michigan citizens with updated information regarding pain management for the public on this website.
