Michigan Construction Lien Fund Claim Payout Lookup

The Construction Lien Act now mandates the Michigan Homeowner Construction Lien Recovery Fund to make information available for public search if a court ordered claim payment was made from the Fund as a result of the contractor's failure to pay a supplier, subcontractor or laborer on a residential construction project.

Users will be allowed to search by the Business Name, Owner/Qualifying Officer Name and/or License Number. The search results will provide the payout information including the payee name, payment amount and the date of the payment. The database will be updated regularly.
