|The Plan Review Division has responsibility for the review of building, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and manufactured housing community plan reviews, all Barrier Free Design exception requests and the Barrier Free Design Board. The division also reviews premanufactured plans and compliance assurance manuals.

Michigan Building/Residential Code Rules, Michigan Rehabilitation Code for Existing Buildings Rules, and the Michigan Uniform Energy Code Parts 10 & 10a Rules
The 2009 Michigan Building/Residential, Rehabilitation and Energy Code Rules were filed with the Secretary of State on November 8, 2010, and become effective March 9, 2011. The rules provide the latest standards to protect the health and promote the safety and welfare of the people by regulating the construction, reconstruction and alteration of buildings within the state. The rules provided below are only those rules affected during the recent Michigan amendment process.
