MPSC Approves Enbridge Energy, Limited Partnership Application to Replace Segment of Existing Crude Oil and Petroleum Pipeline

May 24, 2012 - The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today approved an application filed by Enbridge Energy, Limited Partnership to replace a 50-mile segment of an existing crude oil and petroleum pipeline between its Stockbridge Pump Station in Ingham County and its Ortonville Station in Oakland County to ensure the long-term integrity of the pipeline system.
Today's order adopts, in their entirety, the findings and recommendations made by the administrative law judge in her proposal for decision, finding them well reasoned, prudent and in the public interest.
Within 60 days after the completion of the construction of the project, the company will submit to the Commission "as built" maps.
The MPSC is an agency within the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.
