April 27, 2010 (Lansing) -Attendees of the Associated Food & Petroleum Dealers Spring Trade Show starting today, April 27-Wednesday, April 28 at the Rock Financial Showplace in Novi are encouraged to stop by the Michigan Liquor Control Commission (MLCC) booth.

MLCC Chairperson Nida Samona said staff will be at the booth to promote safe and responsible sales and service of alcohol products, and to answer questions posed by licensees, manufacturers and other trade show guests.

"This is a great opportunity for our staff to interact with the people in our industry," Samona said. "Some licensees want to discuss concerns while others want tips on handling difficult situations involving alcohol. We approach these events as opportunities for gathering feedback about our processes and ways we can improve our customer service."

The show will run from 5 to 10 pm on Tuesday, April 27 and 4 to 9 pm on Wednesday, April 28.
