MPSC Approves Settlement Agreement Authorizing Upper Peninsula Power Company to Implement Its 2010 Power Supply Cost Recovery Factor

The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today approved a settlement agreement authorizing Upper Peninsula Power Company to implement its 2010 power supply cost recovery (PSCR) factor.

The company is authorized to implement a PSCR factor of $0.00063 per kilowatt-hour for its Michigan retail electric customers during the 12-month period ending Dec. 31, 2010, effective with the next billing month.

The utility and the MPSC staff participated in the settlement.

The MPSC is an agency within the Department of Energy, Labor & Economic Growth.
