MPSC Approves Detroit Edison Company's RFP and Bid Evaluation Procedures for Its Renewable Energy Plan Contact: Judy Palnau (517) 241-3323

The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today approved Detroit Edison Company's request for proposals (RFP) and bid evaluation procedures for its renewable energy plan, finding it in compliance with Public Act 295 and the Commission's June 2 order in this case, which found the utility's originally submitted RFP and bid evaluation procedures deficient.
Today's order notes that the MPSC staff will monitor the RFP, bid evaluation process and contracting.
The MPSC is an agency within the Department of Energy, Labor & Economic Growth.
