- Media representatives are invited to attend one of three announcements on Friday, October 6th, by Robert W. Swanson
, Director, Michigan Department of Labor & Economic Growth (DLEG), on the awarding of $1.15 million in worker safety and health grants.
He will make the announcements at three companies across the state that have benefited from the CET Grant program.
The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) will award 20 statewide organizations with Consultation Education and Training (CET) Grants to help protect the safety and health of Michigan's workers. The MIOSHA program is part of DLEG.
The CET Grants provide additional services to employers to help them build a workplace culture that incorporates hazard recognition and worker protections.
