MPSC Approves Settlement Authorizing Northern States Power Company's 2012-2013 Gas Cost Recovery Factor

April 17, 2012 - The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today approved a settlement agreement authorizing Northern States Power Company to implement its gas cost recovery (GCR) plan and factors for the 12-month period ending March 31, 2013.

Under the settlement, the utility is authorized to implement a base GCR factor of $0.49610 per therm during that period.

The utility and the MPSC staff participated in the settlement.

The MPSC is an agency within the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.
