LANSING, MICH--The
Michigan National Guard announces a support group for families and loved
ones of Michigan military members who have died in support of the
current war or while serving on active duty. The group, led by Family
Assistance Center specialist April Clipper and Headquarters and
Headquarters
Company, 1st Battalion, 125th Infantry Battalion Family Readiness
Group officer Shannon Rynca, will meet monthly to help attendees work
through the grief cycle. Michigan National Guard chaplains will also be
on hand to provide support.
The inaugural meeting is Sept. 8, 2007, at 2 p.m. at the Flint
National Guard Armory located at 1101 S. Caesar Chavez Drive, Flint,
Mich., 48503. Families from all branches of military service are welcome
