PRESS RELEASE
May 29, 2007The family of Hermansville resident, Sgt. Phillip J. LaBonte would like to
express their appreciation for the outpouring of support that they have
received from their friends and community.
Sgt. LaBonte, a Michigan Army National Guard Soldier assigned to the 46th
Military Police Company of Kingsford Mich., was injured in Iraq while serving
his country in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
The family would also like to thank the media for understanding that they
will not be granting interviews during this difficult time.
Sgt. Phillip LaBonte joined the Michigan National Guard in December 2001. He
was called to active duty in July 2006 and deployed with the 46th Military
Police in October 2006.
