The Department of Defense announced today the
death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Spc. Bradley N. Shilling, 22, of Stanwood, Mich., died Nov. 18
in Baghdad, Iraq, of injuries suffered when an improvised
explosive device detonated near his vehicle during combat
operations. Shilling was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 125th
Infantry Regiment (Mechanized), Big Rapids, Mich.
