Cinco de Mayo Celebration

soldiers in Detroit May 4, 2003

National Guard soldiers worked at the Cultural Diversity Council set for the Cinco de Mayo celebration in Southwest Detroit. They participated in painting the children’s faces with camo, passing out free miniature footballs and basketballs, free popcorn and dressing the children up in military clothing.
