This guide has been developed to assist food regulatory agencies in the coordination of emergency management efforts to better protect public health and to minimize the economic impact of widespread emergency events. Specific objectives include: 1. Identify the procedures that should be followed in the event of an emergency that poses an imminent health hazard, and 2.
