Who We Are
The MHWC is overseen by the Interagency Healthcare Workforce Coordinating Council (IHWCC) which is composed of representatives from the Office of the Governor, Michigan Department of Community Health, Michigan Department of Human Services, Michigan Department of Education, Michigan Department of Energy, Labor & Economic Growth and the Michigan Health Council. The Department of Community Health provides oversight for the Center. To assist the Department of Community Health in assuring that the Center is useful to the public, the four departments established the IHWCC. The IHWCC serves in an advisory capacity to the Department of Community Health.

An interactive diagram depicting all of the major Michigan healthcare workforce programs that support the MHWC is available in the following link: Healthcare Workforce Initiatives
