National Board on Educational Testing and Public Policy
Housed in the Lynch School of Education at Boston College, NBETPP is an independent organization that monitors testing in the United States, providing information on outcomes in a variety of reports, which are posted on the web site.

This study investigates how profoundly K-12 instruction at various levels is influenced by high stakes state tests.

Errors in standardized tests: A systemic problem.
This study points out the fallibility of testing, particularly in terms of human errors, suggesting that test scores alone should not be used to judge the abilities of an individual nor to determine his educational fate.
