Focus on Ordering Books
Please remember that when you order books by phone, your reader advisor will try his/her best to fulfill your book request. Please allow ample time for the U.S. Postal Service to deliver your books/magazines. If you have not received your order after 7 business days, please contact your reader advisor immediately. We will be happy to work with your post office if you experience difficulty receiving your books.
Focus on New Arrivals
We are proud to announce the arrival of the latest Library of Michigan SBPH catalog , "A Treasury of Good Reading," which is available in large print. In the fall of 1998 the Michigan Library Association asked librarians throughout the state to submit their three favorite adult fiction titles. The response was overwhelming! Next, the Michigan Network of Librarians serving the blind and physically handicapped community reviewed the list to see if these books were also available in alternative format.
We are confident that you'll receive hours of enjoyable reading from the selections listed in "A Treasury of Good Reading." Ask your reader advisor for a copy.
Extra! Extra! Read All About It!

Focus on Service
We need your assistance. Please, when you return your books to the library, make sure the tapes are rewound. We have received many Braille books with incomplete volumes and cassette tapes not rewound. A gentle reminder to our patrons: Please be kind and rewind. Half a Braille Book, left in a nook, will prevent others from reading the book! We want to provide you with the best possible talking book and Braille service. Please help us to serve you better.
