• About MCFB Grants

A goal of the Center for the Book is to bring literary activities to a broad range of people that might not otherwise have these experiences. One way we do this is to provide small grants for literary events in Michigan.

• 2008 MCFB Grant Procedures
The Center will partially fund events or projects in Michigan that fulfill our goal to promote an awareness of books, reading, literacy, authors and Michigan's rich literary heritage. The 2008 grants have been awarded and the program is closed for new applications in 2008. Notice of 2009 funding will be posted in November 2008.

• 2008 Literary Grant Recipients
The Michigan Center for the Book grant winners are decided! We have awarded 11 grants for a total of $4,650.00 for 2008. Congratulations to the recipient libraries. Part of the Center for the Book's mission is to encourage reading and literary events throughout the state. Our grant program is one way we do that.
