Historic Preservation Consultants

Looking for a qualified architectural historian, historian, or historical architect for your project? The Michigan State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) maintains a list of private consultants who meet the Department of the Interior's Professional Qualification Standards (48 FR 22716, Sept. 1983) for work in the field of historic preservation. A list of qualified archaeologists is maintained by the Office of the State Archaeologist.

Historic preservation professionals who meet the Professional Qualification Standards and wish to be included on these lists should submit a cover letter and current CV to the SHPO.

NOTE: Inclusion in these lists does not constitute an endorsement on the part of the SHPO.
