The Michigan Historical Museum offers special evening hours as part of the 23rd annual Silver Bells in the City holiday season kickoff in downtown Lansing. The whole family will enjoy touring the museum galleries to look for and find special seasonal artifacts on display. In addition to the traditional Silver Bells cookies and cider, there will be "make and take" holiday crafts for children and musical entertainment.
While you are at the museum, don't miss the opportunity to find the perfect gifts for everyone on your holiday shopping list at the Museum Store.
Admission and weekend parking are free. For more information about this event, please contact us.
Silver Bells is just the beginning of a fabulous holiday season at the Michigan Historical Museum. Join us the following evening for mid-Michigan's premier holiday gala, the Jingle Ball. It's a night of fun and finery, all in support of the Michigan History Education Fund.
The Michigan Historical Museum is located inside the Michigan Library and Historical Center, 702 West Kalamazoo Street, Lansing. The museum and visitor parking are on the north side of Kalamazoo Street, two blocks east of M. L. King Jr. Boulevard. Here's more information about how to find us.
You can find out about all the evening's fun activities in downtown Lansing by visiting the Silver Bells in the City web site.
